About Us

Anirvedh Charitable Trust for Blind People

Anirvedh Charitable Trust is a registered on 25 june 2021 under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 Mumbai-based non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to improving the quality of life for visually impaired individuals. Our mission is to create inclusive opportunities that promote self-reliance, dignity, and holistic development among the blind community.

At Anirvedh Charitable Trust, we focus on supporting blind and visually impaired individuals because:

The blind community faces specific challenges in accessing education, employment, and daily life resources. These needs are often overlooked in broader welfare programs, leaving a gap that dedicated support can fill effectively.
Blind individuals are disproportionately affected by unemployment and underemployment. By focusing on skill development and self-employment, we directly address one of their most critical barriers to independence.
Our targeted programs — such as massage therapy training or handicraft skill-building — are designed with the specific strengths and capabilities of the visually impaired in mind, ensuring more effective outcomes.
Blind individuals often rely on specialized tools, learning methods (like Braille or audio), and community support. A focused approach allows us to build and strengthen this ecosystem in a sustainable and scalable way.
Supporting the blind community isn’t about exclusion — it’s about equity. Our goal is to bridge the opportunity gap and empower blind individuals to lead confident, independent, and dignified lives.
